Great scenes in awful movies, Part 11

I’ve heard things about “Birdemic: Shock And Terror,” a recent candidate for one of the worst films of all time, but I didn’t really know much about it until seeing this piece on The Onion’s AV Club. And after reading it, HOLY COW! I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE!

True cinematic ineptitude is difficult to pull off, but I think creating a movie about a global bird attack on a $7 budget ranks right up there. I hope everyone involved in this fiasco either: A. owed director James Nguyen a shit-ton of money or B. was the victim of a vicious blackmail scheme involving goats and cream cheese.

Take this scene for example, where our heroes must fend off a horde of eagles? vultures? using only the coat hangers from the hotel room which they have just vacated.

Yes, my friends, that is a real scene from a real movie that played in real theatres. Somewhere, Martin Scorsese weeps.
